Distributed Energy Resources Management System (DERMS) RFP

REC has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure a Distributed Energy Resources Management System (DERMS) platform as part of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnership (GRIP) grant.

Our strategy behind DERMS focuses on maximizing the value of distributed energy resources (DERs) while ensuring grid reliability, sustainability, and cost control for the Cooperative. By creating an environment where renewable energy sources and energy storage systems can be effectively managed, we aim to tackle the challenges posed by increased DER penetration. This approach aligns with broader energy policies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, enhancing energy security, and promoting economic growth through clean energy initiatives.

Please submit any questions regarding this RFP or process to RFPDERMS@myrec.coop
