Sharing Career Information with Students

REC has been participating in a number of career days. Employees talked to the students about the different job opportunities at REC, as well as providing electric safety tips. Students also get the opportunity to see the gear and equipment that linemen use every day.

Member Service Representatives Sarah Kerns and Michaela Jamrozek enjoyed spending Friday, Oct. 28 with elementary-aged homeschoolers in Greene County; Allyson Sharpe, Member Service Representative, and Alister Pollard, lineman, talked with students at the Madison Elementary School Career Day on Nov. 11 while Randy Chenault, Lead Lineman, and Lindsey Edwards, Public Relations Specialist, talked with students at Bowling Green Elementary School on Nov. 21; and Amelia Wright, Member Service Representative II, and Chaz Sorenson, Apprentice Lineman, participated in the Lewis and Clark Elementary School on Nov. 22.
