Each month, thousands of REC members give voluntarily to The Power of Change. Gifts can be a set monthly amount, a one-time donation, or members can round up their bill to the next whole dollar. Learn more about contributing to The Power of Change.

Apply For Change

The purpose of The Power of Change grants is to award funding to 501(c)3 organizations within the REC Service Territory. 

Applications for grants are accepted online twice a year. The spring round of applications is between the period of December to February 10 and the fall round of applications is between the period of June to August 10.

Funding for each round is determined by the CARE Charity Board and grants are awarded in April and October. Learn more about applying for The Power of Change funds.

The fall round of funding opened in June will and close August 10.
