Power Hour Connects Co-op Leadership with Members
Friday | October 27, 2023

For over an hour, on Thursday evening member-owners of Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) participated in a question and answer discussion directly with President and CEO John Hewa. Over 12,400 members accepted the call to participate.

Members asked questions about such topics as reliability, the outage restoration process, solar and cybersecurity, electric vehicle charging, high bills, and broadband.

REC hosts Power Hour meetings for members to be able to ask questions directly to the Cooperative’s leadership. Members who did not have their questions answered live, as well as those who left a voicemail received follow-up calls from REC’s management team and other REC leaders.

Anyone who was unable to participate in the live call can listen to the recording by watching the video below.
