REC Brings Light to the Fredericksburg Candlelight Tour
Wednesday | December 23, 2020

Every holiday season, countless tourists head to Downtown Fredericksburg for the Historic Fredericksburg Candlelight Tour. To support this timeless tradition, REC sponsored the 2020 Candlelight Tour.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 tour focuses on the exterior of over 130 historic homes. Instead of touring the inside of a handful of homes, guests on this year's tour will download a special Candlelight Tour app with a map of properties that have decorated the exterior for the holidays. At each home, tourists will be provided with a property history and select sites will include audio stories and additional images.

REC hasn’t been able to attend community events in person this year, but that hasn’t stopped the Cooperative from supporting local events that are safe, family-friendly, and enjoyable for member-owners and the community at large.
