REC Honored for Community Impact
Friday | January 19, 2024

REC was recently recognized for its work in the community. The Co-op received the Louisa Impact Award as part of the Louisa County Honor Roll.

Similarly, the Louisa Chamber of Commerce nominated REC for its Governor’s Award in community service. As a result, the Co-op has been recognized as part of Serve Virginia’s January 2024 Honor Roll. This designation celebrates individuals, groups and organizations that serve their communities in a variety of ways, promoting quality of life and creating a lasting impact for others.

Casey Hollins, Managing Director - Communications & Public Relations, and a Louisa resident; and Lindsey Edwards, Public Relations Specialist, who has helped coordinate numerous community events, donations and sponsorships in Louisa County, accepted the award on behalf of REC.
