REC’s Brightens Greene County’s Holiday Cruise Thru

Greene County residents were full of holiday spirit on Dec. 12 as they drove through the first Red, White, Blue 'n Greene Christmas Cruise Thru Light Display at the Greene County Schools Complex in Stanardsville. 


REC's community trailer donned a whole new look for this night of community fun. REC also supported the event by lending three generators to light up the night and by making a donation for storage needed in advance for this event. Rachelle Scott, senior member services representative; Jeff Cropp, member services representative; and Oliver Price, director of member services and community relations in Culpeper, spread lots of holiday cheer.

Due to the generosity of over 27,000 REC member-owners, 14 local organizations were recently awarded grants totaling more than $72,600.
For the 19th straight year, REC received the Tree Line USA designation from The Arbor Day Foundation.
