Supporting Our Community: Grants & Scholarships

We recorded today’s episode via Zoom with Casey Hollins, Director of Communications and Public Relations for Rappahannock Electric Cooperative to learn about their community grants and scholarships program.

Casey explained how their scholarship program works, who can apply and what types of education can be obtained using them. She told us of the deadline to apply and reminded us that current college students can still submit an application. Click here for more information.

Community Grants

We had a conversation today with Lindsey Edwards about REC’s commitment to the communities they serve. One of the ways they give back is through grants that support local schools, nonprofits, and emergency services teams. Lindsey told us how they work, the types of projects they’ve helped fund over the years, and how to apply for a community grant.

Community Connections

Being involved in the communities they serve is a cornerstone for Rappahannock Electric Cooperative. Today, Janet was in the studio with Casey Hollins, Director of Communications and Public Relations for REC to talk about their community programs.
