Zachary Hicks Promoted to Director of Member Services and Community Relations at REC

REC is pleased to announce the promotion of Zachary Hicks to Director of Member Services and Community Relations for the Northern Region, based out of the Front Royal office.

In his new role, Hicks will oversee Member Services and field operations while serving as a key link between REC and Frederick, Clarke, and Warren counties. Additionally, Hicks serves as a liaison between the Cooperative and the county Boards of Supervisors and the regional Chamber of Commerce. 

Hicks started his career at REC in August 2010 in the Member Services department as a Member Service Field Representative. In February 2016, he transitioned to the Distribution Design department. 

“Mr. Hicks’ well-rounded experience and years of service at REC will be invaluable in his new role,” said Kris Sieber, Managing Director – Member Services. He has held previous positions at REC working in member services, field operations and distribution design.

Hicks is a graduate of the REC Leadership Engagement and Performance (LEAP) program and the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber’s Community Leadership Program. Outside of work, Hicks is an active leader in his local church. He lives in Martinsburg, W.Va., with his wife, Zandy, and their daughter, Zayla.
