REC Employees Volunteer at Madison Day

A crew of REC employees from the Cooperative’s Culpeper office volunteered for the 2024 Madison Day on Saturday, May 11.

Jeff Henry, Director of Member Services and Community Relations; Eric Corbin, Field Operations Foreman; Jeff Scheidmantle, System Inspector; Jackson Knighting, Member Service Field Representative; Cole Smith, Member Service Field Representative; Daniel Dutter, Energy Management Technician & Master Technician; and Ben Berry, an REC retiree, worked on one of the day’s many projects, taking down an old wooden porch and building a new, stronger one in its place.

This annual event represents the true meaning of caring for others and giving back. REC was proud to take part in this amazing day of volunteering once again this year.
