Regulatory Affairs/Compliance Intern
The Regulatory Affairs & Compliance department is responsible for rate design, case filing, compliance filing, cooperative legal structure, depreciation study coordination and legislative involvement. REC seeks a summer intern to assist in the regulatory affairs & compliance efforts to advance the department.
Human Resources Intern
REC’s Human Resources Department is seeking a Human Resources intern to support Cooperative HR practices and workforce development.
Vegetation Management Intern
The Vegetation Management department is responsible for overseeing utility forestry programs, ensuring safe and reliable electric service through vegetation clearance, mapping and GIS support, coordination with contractors, and member communication. REC seeks a summer intern to assist in vegetation management initiatives and support field and office operations.
Security Services Intern
The Security Services department is responsible for strengthening the physical security and operational resilience of REC’s substations and facilities. This includes consolidating site information, improving accessibility of critical data, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the development of secure, centralized systems used across the organization. REC seeks an intern to support a major project focused on enhancing the security, organization, and accessibility of substation information.
Communications & Public Relations Intern
We’re looking for bold, curious, creative interns who want to roll up their sleeves and do the work — from podcasting to internal storytelling to social media content that actually grabs attention. You’ll work side-by-side with award-winning professionals and leave with real-world experience, new skills, and portfolio-worthy work.
